Job Brief

We are looking for an early-career Brand & Marketing Strategist to be our first-ever team member in our brand new marketing department. You’ll be responsible for setting specific objectives to develop a cohesive and profitable marketing strategy for our company.

Our Brand & Marketing Strategist position involves a variety of tasks, including designing digital marketing campaigns and performing market research. If you’re a creative, goal-oriented professional who is looking for his or her big opportunity to showcase your mad skills as a marketing enius, we would like you to be part of our team and share innovative ideas to help launch our company into the stratosphere.

Ultimately, you should be able to increase our market share and ensure brand consistency.

Responsibilities

  • Set specific marketing goals
  • Design and implement marketing strategies aligned with business targets
  • Develop digital campaigns to increase web traffic
  • Analyze sales and marketing metrics
  • Forecast market trends
  • Research market to identify new opportunities
  • Generate innovative ideas to promote our brand and our products
  • Address advertising needs
  • Ensure brand consistency through all marketing channels
  • Use customer feedback to ensure client satisfaction
  • Liaise with internal teams and ensure brand consistency
  • Establish a strong, long-term web presence
  • Determine the most innovative approach on how to enhance our brand’s image to the general public
  • Create and innovate ways to make our brand stand out in the marketplace

Requirements

  • Proven collegiate and some work experience as a Brand or Marketing strategist or Marketing manager
  • Demonstrable experience with marketing campaigns and web technologies (e.g. online tools and social media)
  • Cursory knowledge of CRM software and Content Management Systems
  • Familiarity with SEO/SEM and Google Analytics
  • Understanding of web design
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Team management skills
  • BS degree in Marketing or relevant field

Specific Required Duties

  • Help drive and curate content for blogs and videos
  • Keep our social media platforms up-to-date and interactive with our followers
  • Plan blog and video calendar
  • Create email marketing campaigns
  • Publish Case Studies and Fact Sheets
  • Keep website up-to-date

Desired Skills 

  • Shoot, edit, and produce short videos
  • Write blogs, white papers, video scripts, and website content
  • Attend trade shows
  • Cure world hunger
