Company Background

Energy Lighting Services [ELS] is a national lighting contracting company made up of commercial LED Lighting experts. ELS specializes in designing and professionally managing turnkey LED Lighting projects tailored to their clients specific needs. ELS helps business leaders across the country save money and create opportunity by switching to an LED lighting system, often with cash flow positive, zero money out of pocket projects. ELS also provides electrical services to the greater Nashville Area with their local division, ELS Electric.

Energy Lighting Services has been a trusted partner in the lighting energy arena for nearly 10 years and was founded by a former teacher and pastor Jason Duncan who started the business after he lost his job during the 2008 recession. Integrity is at the foundation of everything ELS does. Each project is treated as an opportunity to promote stewardship, reduce carbon emissions, and improve quality of life for everyone in the United States and beyond.

Jason Duncan spent four years as a schoolteacher, but due to cuts in his County’s budget was forced to make a decision about the next step in his career. After much prayer, thought, and many sleepless nights, he and his wife, Kristie, decided it was time for him to run his own business full-time. Jason founded a new energy efficiency consulting company based in Gallatin called Future Vision Energy (now known as Energy Lighting Services). Today, it is an award-winning multi-million-dollar business with offices in Hendersonville TN, Memphis TN, Greenville, SC, and Sacramento CA. He expanded into the electrical services space with a new division of the company in July of 2018, hiring Brendon Lombardi as Vice President of ELS Electric.

Along with being CEO of Energy Lighting Services and ELS ELS Electric, Duncan coaches salespeople, entrepreneurs, and small business owners. Jason is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Hendersonville Area Chamber of Commerce and serves as a pastor in his local church Eikon House (www.eikonhouse.com) In 2014, he won the Rising Star Award from the TN Small Business Development Center, was nominated in the Nashville Business Journal’s Sumner County Impact Awards, and the 2015 40 Under 40 Awards.

Jason is a passionate and dedicated professional who loves Jesus. He lives in Gallatin, Tennessee, with his wife and two children. He enjoys playing guitar, riding his Harley-Davidson, working on his small farm, and camping with his family.
